Some Yahoo-ness

For the past few months I've had a nagging "I wanna see my brother and sister in law" feeling.  They live in North Carolina, which is too damn far I say.  I found a reasonable air fare and booked a Memorial Day trip to visit.  I am so happy about this!!!  Really really happy.

That's all.

And I have a brother in NC too - maybe they're neighbors?

Hooray!

The only time I visited NC (odd considering how long I lived in Knoxville) was for a cousin's wedding. It was an epic series of fiascos, engine diasters (the car never made it back out of NC), emergency hotel rooms, skating by on my last dime, sitting in an airport for over 12 hours listening to a radio station that played instrumental versions of popular songs and drove me up the WALL because I am terrible at Name That Tune ... and really, it was one of my very best vacations.

I hope your trip is much less chaotic, though. *laughs*

Good for you. You will be only one state away. Vacations are awesome.

Whoop!!! So glad you get to travel to this side of the country again!

Hope the trip is great, and remember... if you are interested in a side trip, you'll find a light on in Cha'hl'ston :) I'm guessing you'll have so much savoring of family to do that the trip will be a whirlwind of great fun!
