Thursday

Last night was Christmas at my house.  It went so well!  My oldest daughter, her husband and their 17 year old daughter (my daughters step daughter), my sober daughter and her husband (she was radiant with hand made gifts for everyone), and brother (my son) and his girlfriend (a lovely normal girl).  Laughter, Greek pizzas, presents, a fire in the back yard in the burn barrel, Theo trying to sit on everyone and I even brought out the tap shoes for all to try.  Ahhhhh  I enjoyed myself so much.

Today is work and then a drive across town for a birthday party for my Sponsor.....yikes, I haven't a gift yet!  At least that will be the last gift I have to buy for the season!

Tomorrow morning I will get up early early to drive over the sober daughters and ride with her and her husband for a 6am surgery downtown in our beautiful Medical Center.

I will stay in the moment as best I can so as not to feel overwhelmed.  Thank goodness I've had lots of practice on how to do that.

Oh and PS:  My children are all so pretty. Really.

Happy Holidays to your family, may they make each step you all take lead to peace. Staying in the moment is such good advice; thank you for reminding me.

That sounds wonderful, those Greek pizzas, homemade gifts and the Great Dane as lapdog. I will be thinking of your daughter tomorrow and wishing her all the best for the op.

It does sound wonderful Pam and inspires me to maybe have a fire in the fire pit on Christmas Eve. I am praying for you and your girl. ((HUG))

Too bad we have to remain so anonymous, because I do enjoy me some pictures of pretty kids!!

Now that I read where SD is going for surgery, I know she will be fine. The best medical center in the USA is on the case!!

Praying for the surgery today!

So glad you had a nice Christmas! Do you tap dance? If so, all I want for Christmas is a video of you tap dancing :)
