Brief

I spoke with my adult son yesterday.  He got a job.  A great job.  He was so happy and proud.  As the conversation progressed I learned that it was a 3 hour a day job, four days a week job, 30 miles away on no bus line job that he could not get to BUT at least he could report that he got it.  It wasn't a job he could actually show up and work at but that it sort of beside the point don't you think Mom?

I am loving the word "mighty" this week.

Three day weekend yahoo!  We have a burn ban in effect and so I'm already nervous that my husband will shoot fireworks anyway and the law will come to my door and blah blah blah that is 3 days away!

I have an all day fundraiser to attend tomorrow which will be a fish fry with good speakers and great fellowship.

I am depending on a Mighty God today!

Enjoy the week end, I will soon be holding "my" baby girl, who I plan to dress up in an adorable pink onesie and parade about Lexington:)

Oh dear. I remember my dear daughter getting a job just like that. I told her it was "insane." I don't think she appreciated that. And I still remember that conversation all these years later.

I guess it is the thought and the getting of the job that matters. Have a great day.
