Clean, no scratches or dents.
No thoughtless words spoken, no blunders of any kind committed.
The scent of yesterday hangs in the air but it can not come back to life today.
Today, I can live any way I choose.
But I must choose.
I am not one who can just rush out the door and let the day unfold as it will.
I can not leave the safety of my home until I consciously choose my attitude.
I can not just boldly face the world, skewed brain and skewed thinking, just hoping for the best.
No no, I equip myself each and every morning with the power of prayer and God and by choosing my attitude for the day and by staying only in this day.
Really, it's a brand new day.
