Sunday Morning

My home was alive yesterday with neighbors.  I wasn't happy about this in the beginning but slowly felt such gratitude for the help.  It seems that everyone saw us drive up with two new palm trees for the back yard and within an hour they were at the ready with shovels.  By mid day my husband had decided to drain the pool for cleaning and five people including one child, were down in the hole with spray bottles of bleach and scrub brushes.

I hope today is a little more peaceful though!  Theo is exhausted.

The Texas heat will drive us all indoors soon and we will just wave as we exit our cars and run inside to the AC. For now, I will enjoy spring and the friendliness of people who know me only as the woman I am now and have no idea of the chaos I am truly capable of.

Enjoy your day ole'.

Wow, what a blessing. Neighbors who care. We each have 2 acre parcels here in my neighborhood and we come and go and no one knows the difference. There is no borrowing a cup of sugar, no help from the neighbors...isolationists! lol
I hope you have a peaceful day today my dear.
And that chaos is a distant memory.

Sounds like a great day. Neighbors are wonderful, aren't they?

I just had a great discussion about people who knew us "when" and people who only know us "now".

Probably didn't say that right, but I totally get where you are coming from.
Nice!

I think my chaos was mostly on the inside, I don't "look" much different from the outside, but I sure FEEL different.

I had visitors at the boat for most of the day. Am tired after so much socialization. I need to get out more, obviously. Tell Theo that I'm tired too.

:) My parents have been in TX hanging for the last month, now that it's getting warmer they're goin' back to old MI to experience the unseasonably warm start to spring :)

It is nice to have neighbors and friends who come and help of their good hearts, and good to join in the amazing work of gratitude! :)
