New week

I took my house guest to the airport last night after a great week of fun restaurants, catching up, and weekend spent outdoors by the pool with lots of food.  Going off my diet for a week was fine but just reiterated the fact that I do not know moderation.  It's all or nothing for me.

I am under a huge amount of stress at work right now and I know I am facing "one of those weeks."  I have been preparing myself for it by doing what "I know."  I went to my home group last night and participated.  I went through my closet and decided what I would wear each day and made sure it was clean and ready.  I purchased the food for my lunches and for my dinner each night.  I've made no outside commitments so that I can be at home and go to bed early each night.  I am just trying to do all the footwork I can to ensure that I can do my best without distractions.  We'll see how that works.

It's good to see you up and preparing, between you and Mary Christine I can see the things that need to be done to "prepare for God to provide for the rest of your needs" do what you can... the rest God brings naturally right?

Maybe seeing all the "stuff" through the young 'uns eyes was just what you needed. You really do have a beautiful family.

You sound ready for whatever the week brings your way. Have a good Monday, Pammie.

Glad that you got to relax by the pool. Nice.

Doing what we can to effect what we can really, really helps. I have had to do that a lot with my new job. Like standing in the kitchen after dinner, cooking a good lunch to pack for the next day. It has been years since I have done that. And ironing on Sunday afternoon instead of leaving it for the morning when I put on a wrinkled blouse -and then have to iron.

Preparing a head of time? Wow. Now see, I just learned something from you. Thanks for sharing that.

Seems like you're ready. I'll just step back out of the way.
