I took my house guest to the airport last night after a great week of fun restaurants, catching up, and weekend spent outdoors by the pool with lots of food. Going off my diet for a week was fine but just reiterated the fact that I do not know moderation. It's all or nothing for me.
I am under a huge amount of stress at work right now and I know I am facing "one of those weeks." I have been preparing myself for it by doing what "I know." I went to my home group last night and participated. I went through my closet and decided what I would wear each day and made sure it was clean and ready. I purchased the food for my lunches and for my dinner each night. I've made no outside commitments so that I can be at home and go to bed early each night. I am just trying to do all the footwork I can to ensure that I can do my best without distractions. We'll see how that works.
