Not much

I overheard a young teenage girl on the phone at the grocery store last night and apparently when some boy named Brian walks past her in Science class, she starts sweating and feels all nauseous from nerves.  Ahhh I miss that.

We had a mandatory 15 minute evacuation training at work yesterday.  We were told that in the event of a tornado, upon leaving the "safe areas" we were to walk directly to the exits.  Fine.  We were told that while walking calmly to the exits we may in fact see some co-workers who may or may not be injured and laying under rubble (really-part of the training) and that we were to keep walking and call 911 upon exiting the building.  One of the oldest guys in the room stood up and said "young man, this is Texas, we don't walk past people stuck under rubble."  I clapped.

Oh well, I'm dull this week.............enjoy your Friday mi amigos.

We haven't had that kind of evacuation training, just boring fire drills. Happy Friday, Pammie. Hope that there is no need to evacuate.

we have (ADR)defibrillators on each floor by the elevator. I have no idea how to use one, some training would be nice... I wouldn't walk by someone under rubble either.

:) We don't walk past people stuck in the rubble. God let that be true for me today! :)

Marcia, you can google ADR machines and get a quick lesson on how to use one...an ADR saved my young mom friend's life a couple months ago....I blogged about it. It was a huge event in all of our lives to have almost lost her.

Pam... what a comfort to work with someone who has your back. Yeah...how could anyone walk past someone who is caught under rubble. It goes against human nature.....unless you are the captain of that ship that ran aground near Italy. I guess he lived by the motto "every man for himself."

Have a good day Pam.

God bless him. I think in Colorado the weasily little men would head for the doors.

In Michigan the men would want something in return.
