Speaking in dots

  • I'm loving Sophia Grace and Rosie on YouTube.
  • I have increased my walk from 1 mile to 1 mile plus one loop around the big church down the street.
  • I made several jib jab cards this weekend and laughed my ass off at them.
  • I have made it two weeks off the nicotine gum, not cigarettes, but I've been doing both for almost four years.
  • When I wake up from a nap I am mad.  What the hell am I mad at?  My theory is that it takes me a little while to push all the negative feelings back down somewhere in my body, like maybe my appendix or somewhere so that I can be my nice self again.  When I first wake up from a nap all my negative feelings are right on the surface.  For some reason this does not hold true for waking up first thing in the morning because I feel great in the morning.
  • I turned my cell phone off yesterday and although I felt guilty while doing it, I did it anyway.
  • I wrote a letter to our mayor yesterday with some suggestions on how she might improve her job performance.
  • I can't wait to get back to work this morning where the day is spelled out in deadlines and normal day to day business.  I love my industry.
  • I can't wait to see what unfolds on this day.  I just pray to be present in the present time.

Hope that you have a great day and that the major doesn't come looking for you, Pammie. I write letters to the editor occasionally. It feels good.

hopefully your mayor will be open to your suggestions :-)

I too occasionally "hibernate" from my cell and laptop, although I find it difficult and a source of bizarre guilt. What the hell did we do before smart phones, the internet and laptops?

That bit about the mayor made me laugh out loud. Really. Like, if I was still drinking coffee, which I'm not (as you know,) I may have snorted a little out of my nose as I laughed it was that funny. But, did you send the letter??

Top of the mornin' to ya, Pammie.

Sounds like a productive weekend! Any weekend with naps is a good one in my book.

Ha, ha..it's all good! I spent part of the week end at a website called "dogs wearing glasses."
Animals wearing anything human is so hysterical!

I'm afraid to write to our mayor. Bad things happen to those who complain in this town;(

Good for you Pam on the walking and trying to kick nicotine! I have a friend who has chewed the gum for years, but does not light up. Thanks for your daily reminders to stay in this day. Googling jib jab now!
