Lucy I'm Home!

What a great convention !!
  • I got to spend some quality time with some friends from Denver, Kansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.  These are friends I see twice a year and I love to spend time with them.
  • I got to hear two awesome speakers from California, who also did a fantastic all day BB study.  They are the most unlikely pair of friends.  Only in our fellowship would these two men have found each other and begun a 25 year friendship.
  • The food was wonderful and catered by a member who owns an Italian restaurant.  I ate food I have never even heard of and oh my what a feast! It was divine.
  • I am blessed.

I like the feeling of coming back from a recovery convention. I am filled with so many good things--food, fellowship, spirituality, hope. Glad that you had a great time.

Welcome back! I haven't gone to a recovery convention since 2007... I think I might need to change in the not too distant future.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll have to think about going to a retreat also. Your post sounds encouraging.
