No title week

Blogger keeps wanting to tell me something about its' new dynamic views. I guess it does not realize that a bunch of alcoholics, addicts and anons have some pretty damn dynamic views on everything.

I received two text messages at the exact same time as I was crawling into bed last night.  One was from a woman and one was from a man, they are husband and wife.  Both have over 25 years sober.  She said "he's in the other room packing to leave, says he can not give her up, I'm just devastated and so hurt and angry."  His said "please bring the October meeting agenda with you to the planning committee on Friday."  WHOA. I sent her a text saying "I'm so very sorry that you are going thru this."  I sent him a text saying "OK, I have the agenda."  Good Grief!

Diet day 2 - Success

I have two words (for some bizarre reason) that I am determined to fit into conversation this week.  One is austerity and the other is exponentially.  I haven't been able to so far but I'm working on it.  I talk smarter than I write................LOL

I got up at 4:00am this morning, an hour earlier than usual because I just could not wait to start this day.  Endless opportunities await mi amigos!!!

I woke up at 4 for the same reason! There is no austerity in my life today!

I think those texts show us very clearly that men and women experience things differently... exponentially differently.

I hold great admiration for people that can pull themselves out of bed before 7:00 AM.

Vaya con Dios.

You write smart, Pam. I love that couple story.

I started vacation this morning and almost got up at my usual 6:15am until Jeckyll told me I was crazy and should sleep till 7:00. So I did. And it was delicious.

I like to sleep in now until 7 AM. I might even do it longer tomorrow. My sleep time has exponentially increased since retirement. I basically strive to be happy, joyous and free without the austerity that plagued my working life.
