And so it's Monday again

Can you close your eyes and hear Crosby, Stills & Nash sing Helplessly Hoping?  Me too!

I have a very busy week coming up with a trip to Tulsa on Tuesday for a 2 day business meeting.  I'm on the last day of steroids for my asthma....thank goodness.

I heard and read many many opinions yesterday and it makes me wonder how all our brains can be so different.  Isn't it odd how so many people standing in the same day can view it from so many angles?  I can't help but think that so much of who we are really does revolve around the parcel of land we grew up on, the year we were born and the two humans whose genes we carry.  I think one day a year the entire world should just stand still, put our arms out and just shrug in a kind of a WTF moment.  It could be a genuine moment of "hey, I don't really understand you and you don't really understand me."  Maybe this could just be like a Universal Acknowledgment of how we are.

For those of you who have been reading my blog for the last several years, you may be interested in knowing that all the various opinions did not piss me off yesterday.  In our beautiful program we call that growth.  I have been working on valuing my own thoughts and feelings and have discovered that the more I'm able to do this the less "your" thoughts and opinions bug me.

I am willing to shower, dress and show up for this day with my best self in tow.

That's awesome Pammie. I'm not there right now. Yesterday was hard for me.

And I have twin daughters who emerged from the same womb on the same day, into the same world, and have utterly different views of absolutely everything. Go figure.

It is good to have such diverse opinions. Makes for interesting discussions and, as you said, for growth. I learn something from every person--whether it is what I wanted to hear or read or not. Have a good day, Pammie.

You summed that up perfectly! I have wondered what that phenomena would be called. Thanks for clearing that up for me some.

Since I started blogging again, I have only gotten pissed off enough to rant about it one time. That is growth alright.

I'm not sure what opinions to which you refer.
Doesn't really matter. Everyone has opinions.
Many of us see things differently.
Imagine what a boring world it would be if we were all the same.

Differences -- sometimes it has to do with different parcls of land or cultures or privilege or bloodymindedness and sometimes it has to do with holding unpopular minority views and sometimes it matters and sometimes not.

When did Crosy, Stills and Nash become Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young?
