blah blah blah

My husband was moved to a private room last night. He was sitting up and eating popsicles when I left. He's "had about enough of this damn nonsense."

I'm going to work this morning and I'll try to get out of there by lunch and get back to the hospital.  I'm kind of tired from being out of my routine and I'm actually looking forward to going into the office today to feel some "normalcy."  I have a drained feeling.

I ate a whole pot of my favorite comfort food last night....mac and cheese mixed with field peas and A1 sauce, then went to bed.  I was too tired to make the cornbread that goes with that.

It was quite odd to lay in bed on the 4th of July and not hear fireworks.  The burn ban is a good decision but I am not always "about" good decisions.

It feels like Monday right?  I feel kind of raw (?)

Glad he's had about enough of this damn nonsense.

Wishing and praying for a continued quick healing for him! Specially since he's got Michigan roots!

Mmmmmm mac and cheese and field peas, I like both, never mixed 'em ... gonna have to try that.

I'm still sending warm and bear like hugs your way, I hope you get plenty in person.

Guess the hubby didn't get to set off large exploding things during the burn ban after all, sometimes it takes great events to keep the big guys safe!

My old sponsor on the other hand was shooting off 3 inch mortar rounds in his brothers back yard during a burn ban up north this weekend. :0P Boys! :)

I know the feeling of being drained, tired and worried. Hope that he will be out of the hospital soon. And that all will be well. A hug to you.
