I am off work today! I'm picking up my BFF (anyone remember a few years ago when I thought that meant Best Fuckin' Friend?) from the airport for the weekend. She is my co-worker from an office out of state. When I started with this company five years ago, we talked on the phone in conducting business day to day. We instantly fell in love with each other. Isn't life funny that way? Every long term friendship I have, started out that way. Anyway, she now has a new position that brings her to Houston much more often so I am able to bring her to my house for the weekend before she has to be at the office on Monday. The benefit this weekend is that I will celebrate my birthday at my home group and she will get to come. I think this will be her first ever 12 step meeting. Jeez I hope she can act right, you know what odd balls those normies are. Plus this weekend is our big ass Gay Pride Festival and Parade. Our Houston gays really do know how to throw a party!

awesome, have a great weekend! Having formerly lived in H-Town and having returned on business and met with a couple of our sober gay friends, I can vouch for the awesomeness of the gay community in Houston.
