I don't know that I have ever written this line before but yesterday I WAS PROUD OF MYSELF.

I handled a family drama in an appropriate and healing way.  It was not my first instinct but I concentrated on step 11 and actually found the power to "carry that out."  Some days are just plain harder than others ya know?

I think one of the greatest assets of long term sobriety is that it becomes second nature in times of stress for our brains to first seek God and then mentally search for the step that applies to the situation.  It is after all a design for living.

I am grateful today and everyday.

Well then, I am proud of you too. And we do get into deep grooves of recovery, and that is good.

Oh how I get this post, it is amazing to side step drama and just move forward into the part of life that is truly the part we are intended to pay attention too! Thanks for the share!

I don't like drama. Amazing how sometimes it seems to follow me around!

I'm waiting for that to be my second nature.
In the meantime ........
