And So We Begin Again

I had a full weekend with moments stolen at the computer to read all your blogs but not enough time to write on my own.  Having overslept this morning from exhaustion, I find myself rushed.

If you ever get a chance to come to Houston for the Gay Pride festival and parade, do so.  I am still tired from the heat and crowds and visual stimulation.  It was great fun and my house guest from out of town got her first tattoo.

Last night was my birthday celebration at my home group.  I was very popular for the hour and that was about all the popularity and attention I could stand.

My heart is just not into getting dressed for work this morning.  I find myself quite restless this morning for something different than the same old routine.  I will have to figure out how to turn that around before I get there, it just smacks of self absorption, with so many looking for work.

Have I ever told y'all how much inspiration I find from your blogs?  I really do!

I guess I'll go see if God is ready to listen to my endless prattle of woes and concerns so I can leave them behind and start this fresh new week with optimism, humility and joy.

I'm sure you will find inspiration enough to get through this Monday. Sweet pea.

I used to feel that way about work some days. But I realized just how lucky I was to do what I did. It helped.

Did you see me in the parade? I think I saw you waving, but not sure. I was trying not to run over people.

I'll put that Gay Pride event on my bucket list..lol. I was at the parade in Toronto a few years ago, totally unwittingly. I had no idea they were going to close every major road downtown while I was there for the week end.

Wish I'd been there! We have a Mother City Queer Party each year and that is fabulous. My friend Simon goes along dressed as Carmen Miranda Burana with sequins and a fruit bowl on his head.

Happy belated birthday Pam! Your blog inspires me.
