- That fact that we all think differently on certain topics can be a real bummer but I still find it entertaining.
- I can change my mind in mid argument and switch sides without missing a beat. It doesn't wound my ego to let someone know that their argument is valid and that I see where my error was in some old belief that I had stopped questioning.
- However, there are some core beliefs that I have examined and questioned and I tend to argue until blood starts showing. On these, I cannot back down and it's not ego for me it's a warped since of duty and honor. This is something that I have NOT figured out.
- I don't so much mind these flaws showing because there are thousands of flaws that you missed me working through already and did not get to witness my many many ah-ha moments that changed my perceptions and worn out beliefs.
- If nothing else, I have been faithful to this process.

Great post! I was feeling an old less than desirable personality trait surfacing when I read this post. Thank you for giving me a much needed realignment!
I know this feeling intimately. Sometimes I'm still bugged by the process of ego deflation, but I have come to rely on it as a beauiful and freeing.
It doesn't always look pretty though, and gosh sometimes I still hate lookin' bad. But I'm workin' on that (LOL) or better put... God's working on it with me ;oP I'm glad youre willing to be honest about it!
There are things that I hold onto also. But I also realize that each person has the right to express their opinions. I just don't have to agree with them. But that is another thing altogether.
