Tuesday Morning

I wonder why the word "polka" is in front of "dots?"

Today is an "ouch" dentist day for me, after a long work day.  Damn.

My husband paid $50.00 on craigs list for a used washer and dryer that were delivered to the house last night.  We do not need the washer but they came as a pair.  It looks as though the dryer had been sitting in the rain for quite sometime and the top part with the controls is not anchored down but the damn thing blows hot air so I'm happy. We sat the washer at the end of the drive way with a sign that said "Works-Take Me" and someone did.  My neighbor said "now your washer and dryer don't match."  I can't think of one reason why that matters but of course I'm usually half-ass about things so maybe it should. I just feel grateful.

I have nothing more today that I wish to disclose.  Be kind.

Grateful beats the heck out of wishing you had a w/d that matches! Who ever looks at your dryer?

It's all good, even the dentist, because teeth are important.

This morning I was dreaming of visiting Mom, and seeing a blogger along the way!

An early recorded use of the term "polka dot" is in 1854 in The Yale literary magazine. The pattern is named for the dance of the same name, making one suspect there is a connection linking the pattern to the dance. Instead, the name was settled upon merely because of the dance's popularity at the time the pattern became fashionable. Many other products and fashions of the era also adopted the polka name.

Care to dance, Pammie?

Isn't it funny how in our minds a w/d need to be a matching set? But really you are so right.... what difference does it make? Who goes in there other than ME!? LOL
Glad he got such a bargain.

LOL polka... Syd of course provided the answer... I woulda said, "same reason 'cyber' is in front of 'space.'" Then I start to sing to myself, a rendition of "rainbow connection" (kermit the frog style)

Somebody thought of it and someone believed it...look what it's done so far....

whats so amazing that keeps us star gazing ....

I know, I'm a smart ass
