Off the wagon-face down in the salsa

This is a picture of me last night.

At 1:00 pm yesterday after walking 2 miles on my lunch break I had a "knowin'" that I could no longer resist the call of chili rellenos.  I called my sponsee that talks too much and asked her if she would like to meet me after work at my favorite Mexican food place and she said yes.  I ate guacamole salad, chips, salsa, chili relleno, cheese enchiladas, rice, refried beans and ice tea.  I came home and had two pieces of banana nut bread with butter then went to bed.  I felt I had to.  I felt I could not resist another moment.  It was delicious.  I have my regular diet breakfast and lunch packed for the day and I feel fine about going back to the diet.  I do not know moderation, I just don't.  It's all or nothing.  It's eat like there is no tomorrow or diet.  Portion control is rocket science.

I wish I had a couple of chickens in my backyard..........no, I don't want to eat them, I just would like some fresh egg whites in my tuna salad today.  Well....OK...chicken Kiev sounds pretty damn good.

Uh oh--time for FA too. Just kidding.
After, weeks of having 900 calories, I think that I would want to gnaw on something filling too.

What is FA? Fatty's Anonymous? Fat Ass Anonymous?

I have a friend who needed to lose a substantial amount of weight...she allowed herself a mocha milkshake once a week. Every Friday she knew she could have it and there was no guilt and it helped her to stay on track the rest of the week. And she did reach her goal weight and has stayed there for many years now....so maybe she was on to something!

Walk a little longer today and call it even. :o)

Also thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. My girl and I text...yes, the cell phone has been one tie I have never been able to cut. In my mind its a safety issue...anyway, I texted her the minute I woke up, "you doing ok?" No reply for about 12 hours...but finally it came through. "I'm ok." Thank you Pammie for being you.

Truth is, no one knows what its like to be you... or me for that matter. Over the last 3 years I have gained weight on such a gradual basis that sometimes I look at myself now and wonder what the fuck happened. Much like my drinking lol. I am back at the gym and trying to eat conscientiously but man alive, anything that tastes good- like really good is SO bad. One mocha a week. Ya right, just saying.

There is a limit to how long a person can go without chile rellenos.

Funny, I had that yesterday for lunch too!
