Monday Morning

Hey,  I forgot to mention that I got the new Palm trees for $12.50....long story, but a major yippee for me.

My dryer went out yesterday and my husband is of the "oh I can fix that" persuasion. Of course there is no space in my little laundry room to take apart a big dryer, so it needed to be hauled out into the middle of the living room and disassembled.  Nope, it would cost too much to fix.  I forget how grateful I am to have a washer and dryer until the set is broken up.  He will search Craigs list today to find a replacement.  Little kinks in the road that make life seem so rough if you don't stand back and look at the whole.

I am down 25lbs.  I haven't done any walking since that first couple of weeks in February but I have found numerous ways to cook squash and enjoy Smart Ones.

I am certain that God will keep me sober today.......and have no reason to believe that he would change in mid-stream.

Those palm trees appeal to me -- do they tower over the pool?

We don't have a washing machine, wash in the bath by hand -- but the sun is always shining!

I fix a lot but not appliances. I have learned not to do that over and over hoping for different results.
Happy Monday, Pammie.

That sounds exactly like something my husband would do, Pam. 25 pounds is amazing! As always you inspire me!

I've been without a dryer for a week and the clean panty level is getting into the danger zone. Still waiting for a belt for the dryer so I guess I better hang a line. Congratulations on the 25 pounds, after a weekend of birthday cake gluttony, I'm trying to get back on track. Number of pounds lost so far = 0 :( Number of drinks in 205 days = 0 :)

Hope the dryer situation gets resolved soon.

And congrats on 25!

Haha, the middle of the livingroom. The thing about a dead washer or dryer is you have to get a new dryer or washer to match! Good job on the 25 lbs Pammie.

:) It is nice to have a washer and dryer at home, I've spent plenty of time using laundromats. Though there were a couple of times (out of hundreds and hundreds) that I thought... "Hey this is efficient, all the loads got done at once" a couple of times mind you. :oD

I do remember not having washer, dryer or money for the laundromat for that matter and a work uniform that was less than socially acceptable because of ... well you know, we don't always wear it well in disease....

I remember stealing things like soap and toilet paper from my workplace too... glad I don't have to live that life anymore, glad I am provided for in ways that are unimaginably rich.

Huh, it's been a while since I've been sincerely grateful for
stuff like toilet paper in the cupboard.

NICE!

:)

Oh and YAY for 25!
