Bless your heart darlin'

Heading north for a convention which includes a six hour big book study.  I'm looking forward to the weekend.
I travel with only a carry on these days and feel bad for the women who still have not learned that they do not need their entire wardrobe and make up drawer for a weekend.  It was a very freeing lesson for me some years back.
I hope I do not have to hear endless talk about my Texas accent.....really.  It would probably help if I could somehow magically drop "darlin'", "bless your heart", "y'all", and "hot-damn" from my vocabulary. LOL

I'll be back Sunday night darlin'.

Oh no...don't ever drop those from your vocab. I call people Love, Lovey and Sweet pea....it just pops out and I realize it could be taken an as me being condescending, but it just isn't that. It is what it is and what makes us....us.

raised in Southern VA, saying "ya'll" lived in DC for years and felt like a hick, then gratefully moved to Texas where I can talk freely! Yay! And yes, carryons are the way to go!
