Speaking in Bullets
- I just don't care what 10 year olds think of me, so I guess I would not make a very good recording artist.
- It is becoming apparent that the only one in the world I allow to "really" see me is my dog. He's never seen my game face.
- I'm running out of reasons and snappy comments about why I still smoke.
- I think I may be a prude and I don't want to look up the definition of the word in case it's really true.
- Not everyone understands the miracle of sobriety in my life because they did not know me before the miracle happened.
- God knows everything about me and yet still treats me with tenderness.

I know what you mean about people not understanding the miracle of recovery in your life. All I can say, is - thank God there weren't cell phone cameras and social media tools back in the day when I was out of my mind. I'd have hated to leave a record! As it is, it is fun to tell people about my past sometimes and see that look of "seriously - YOU?" in their eyes.
Yes, me.
I fixed the URL on my blog.
You have been missed.
I'm really happy you're here again.
I second what Dawn says.
And why don't your posts update on my blogroll?
I relate sooooo much to the running out of snappy comments about continuing to smoke. Every time I try stopping, I start having cravings for alcohol and intense, realistic drinking dreams, so for me, even after almost 4 years of sobriety, smoking the lesser of the 2 evils. I love your last bullet, too. xo
I am glad that you have the miracle of sobriety in your life.
