Bluebonnets and stuffola

Texas Bluebonnets.  Every weekend in April, young families are pulled over on the side of the road taking pictures of their kids sitting in the Bluebonnets.  I always want to roll down my windows and  holler "stop squashing down the flowers!"  It's against the law to pick them but evidently it's OK to trample and sit on them.

Yesterday, was the last of my "ouch" dental appointments.  My mouth hurts this morning but I feel so victorious that I completed a 3 month long series of appointments like a real grown up. I have to complete the year with a cleaning every 3 months to finish what I've started and have healthy gums but I always want to talk recovery to dental hygienists because I've sponsored so many...lol.

I got up an hour early this morning because I was just finished sleeping for the night....ya know what I mean?  I used to just go into work early but I can't work as many hours as I used to.  I really do hit a wall by 3:00 in the afternoon now.  My brain is fried and done by then.  I don't know when that started happening.

OK you guys......walk, talk and touch gently today, there's enough pounding going on.

Those bluebonnets are beautiful. There are lots of songs about them.

I used to hit the wall around 2 PM when I would have to get up from my desk and walk around the building for about 5 minutes. I now understand why some of my professors in graduate school would be asleep in their offices in the afternoon. A power nap can recharge the system.

I always feel like I missed a special Pam Blessing when I don't get to your posts until early evening. Unfortunately, its my only time to sit down at the computer.

Beautiful flowers.

My Mama is smelling the bluebonnets right now.

One year, her and I and one of her boyfriends drove to Lady Bird Johnson's wildflower center. It was a wonderful day!

:) Beautiful blue bonnets

I'd want to touch them, but I don't have to, I would have to keep my hands in my pockets to avoid doing it though.

No pounding, got it! :)
